Argentinean wine importer Vinos Wines will launch the Viniterra, Omnium and Terra brands into the UK this Autumn, aiming to highlight Argentinean wines as a sophisticated choice for UK wine buyers.
Vinos Wines International Sales Director, Nicholas Humes said: “We are very pleased to introduce the Vinos Wine portfolio into the UK this year, especially at a time when the market is diversifying and customers are happy to taste and try different varieties”
“Vinos Wines offer a sophisticated alternative to Australian and New Zealand products, which have become standard fixtures in the UK wine market”, Mr Humes said.
Vinos Wines is launching three leading brands from its portfolio of award-winning wines – all of which will be initially aimed at the off-license trade in the UK.
The Viniterra range comes from the wineries’ fine wine range and includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Merlot, Carmenere and Pinot Grigio, retailing at £6.89 per bottle in the UK.
The Terra range includes Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet red wine varieties, which are deep ruby red and full bodied. The white wine selection includes a Viognier and a Chardonnay. The Terra retails at £5.40 per bottle.
The Omnium range offers the young varieties of the winery, with great fruity character and a well-defined profile. The range offers a Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Chardonnay. Bottles in the Omnium range retail at £4.79.
The UK launch of Vinos Wines is supported initially by trade and consumer press, to follow by nation-wide sampling activity this winter.
